Volunteer Information

Agur Lake camp is coming into being through the hard work of volunteers offering hundreds of hours of their time to make it happen.

Our volunteers do jobs like this:

1) Sitting on the Board of Directors

2) Serving on a variety of committees

3) Doing camp clean-up

4) Writing grant applications

5) Helping at fund raisers like Swing for Kids golf tournament

6) Offering their writing skills for publicity

7) Contributing photography skills

8) Networking in their communities to spread the word about ALC

9) Speaking at information sharing meetings

10) Manning booths at public events

11) Offering professional services free of charge.

Volunteers will be members of closely knit and very supportive teams.They will contribute as much time as they are willing to give. They will be rewarded by having their work appreciated by both their fellow volunteers and the people who will eventually use the camp. Some have even been known to get their pictures in local newspapers!
