The latest camp fundraiser is a gardener's dream!

Winner Joel Shaw & Owner, ALLFORM CONSTRUCTION, Rich Simpson.

And the winner is Joel Shaw from Summerland!!
 
Rich & Michelle Simpson, of ALLFORM CONSTRUCTION along with Sue Filek, President of Agur Lake Camp Society drew the winning ticket for the custom built garden shed on July 24, 2021. 

​The Society is very grateful to Rich Simpson for coming forward with this unique fundraising idea. Rich collected all of the materials and had some donated by Summerland Timber Mart. He also volunteered his time constructing the shed. Mr. Simpson says that he loves helping out in his community and that this was a really fun project to work on.  In fact, he may build one for himself!

​Joel Shaw who purchased his ticket in early June was the winner and will be welcoming the shed to his yard in the next couple of weeks. The garden shed will be craned onto a flatbed trailer from its current location at Summerland Timber Mart and trucked over to the Shaw’s house. The shed is valued at $4,500 and will make a lovely addition to the Shaw’s property.  The Society is excited that a resident of Summerland won this raffle.

Agur Lake Camp operates BC's only barrier-free wilderness campground. For most families in BC, there are 1,700 campgrounds to choose from. For those who have a member with a disability, there is just one.  Agur Lake Camp is right here in the South Okanagan, 30 minutes west of Summerland.
