The camp's summer student, Jolene, has put together the following interactive & fun activities to join: CANOEING Would you like to canoe? Would you like to learn how to canoe? This summer Agur Lake is happy to announce we are providing our campers with the opportunity to canoe. Our summer student Jolene is an experienced canoer, who has paddled on lakes, rivers and oceans and she will be offering our campers a short leisure canoe paddle on Agur Lake. Safety Note: Canoeing is a weather dependent sport, so if the weather isn’t good for the safety of all campers, we will not be going out on the water. Lifejackets must be worn while in the canoe. **There is a possibility of the canoe flipping over, so we ask that participants be mobile and comfortable enough to swim/float until they are assisted back into the canoe**. NATURE WALK Agur Lake is happy to provide a guided nature walk with our summer student Jolene! This relaxed style nature walk is a great way to explore all the beauty surrounding Agur Lake. Each walk will be a unique experience that is led by the participants’ curiosity and what they would like to explore. The goal of each nature walk will be to build your level of connection with the natural world. Nature walks are unique to each group, we can stick to the paved paths, or we can go off the paths. Agur Lake Camp is looking to hire a summer student for the 2022 season!
